Getting ready for jogging

After the accident, she wants to exercise for the first time again.

In her small, cozy bedroom, Marie stands in front of the mirror. It's a challenge for the young woman to go jogging because with a sigh, she looks at her right forearm, which has been in a blue cast for several days. The cast is the result of a wrist fracture and a cumbersome accessory that disrupts her routine.

She searches for the perfect workout clothes, rummaging through the closet until she finds the dark blue leggings that fit her like a second skin and perfectly match her cast. Putting them on is a challenge. Marie balances on one leg as she tries to pull up the leggings with her healthy hand. She stumbles several times, then uses the fingers of her broken hand to help until the leggings are on.

The black top she finds clings tightly to her torso. When running, it will support and securely hold her chest without causing any interference. Then the white socks that she pulls over the leggings, and finally the running shoes. She slips into the shoes, ready to defy gravity. But first, she has to conquer tying the shoelaces with one and a half hands. She gathers her long blonde hair and tries to fix it under a dark blue headband. It's equally challenging to style her thick hair with a limited hand.

Then there's the thin, dark blue jacket, which she doesn't use to hide the bandage. The plaster is a sign of her vulnerability, but she has accepted it. She pulls a mini waistcoat over it, into which she puts her smartphone. Finally, the Bluetooth ear pads for the music accompaniment to the upcoming mission.

Now fully equipped, Marie opens the door to the outside world. A smile plays around her lips. She takes a deep breath and sets off running. With every step, she realises that it was the right decision to go jogging despite her cast.
