Pop singer Nicole, who won in 1982 the Euro Vision Song Contest as first German, had some gigs with a blue bandaged splint on her leg. She had suffered a broken metatarsal in the Saarland (Germany), as she stumbled with flip-flops on stairs.
The following day, the 48-year-old woman came to a gig in castle Klaffenbach near Chemnitz (Germany) in a wheelchair. On stage, she sat on a stool, had her left leg placed high and sang her hits. The next day, Nicole performed at a stage in Berlin-Reinickendorf. She did not cancel the performances and said: "At present, painkillers are my best friends." Later, the pop singer traveled with a white plastered leg to a television production in eastern Tirol (Austria), after that she had surgery on her foot.
