August 2013 Pop singer Nicole, who won in 1982 the Euro Vision Song Contest as first German, had some gigs with a blue bandaged splint on her leg. She had suffered a broken metatarsal in the Saarland (Germany), as she stumbled with flip-flops on stairs.The following day, the 48-year-old woman came to a gig in castle Klaffenbach near Chemnitz (Germany) in a wheelchair. On stage, she sat on a stool, had her left leg placed high and sang her hits. The next day, Nicole performed at a stage in Berlin-Reinickendorf. She did not cancel the performances and said: "At present, painkillers are my best friends." Later, the pop singer traveled with a white plastered leg to a television production in eastern Tirol (Austria), after that she had surgery on her foot. |

August 2002 In 1982 had to accomplish several TV shows and concerts in August 2002 with an arm cast. She sustained partial fractures of her left little finger and ring finger when she slipped barefoot on wet tiles in the garage while loading autograph cards in a car. |
