Caroline Néron had a serious accident with her motorbike. On a bridge in Lawrence Mountains in the province of Quebec the bike of the Canadian actress and singer skidded and she lost control of their Harley-Davidson. Coincidentally, an ambulance was passing the accident site, so she could be brought very quickly to the city hospital of Saint-Jérôme, about 50 km north of Montréal.
She suffered a broken left wrist and cuts on both hands. Her right knee was broken complicated. "I was afraid that the leg has to be amputated," she said later. But the knee could be fixed in an operation with three screws.
After six days, right before her 33rd birthday, she was discharged from the hospital. The healing process lasted about three months. |
